Job Description:

This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis aimed at improving portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance for consumer products and related divisions, such as credit cards. Key responsibilities include applying knowledge of multiple business and technical-related topics and independently driving strategic improvements, large-scale projects, and initiatives. Job expectations include working with business counterparts within the Line of Business and partner organizations including Risk and Product teams.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with tech delivery experience to join our Business Analytics & Enablement team within Data Management & Analytics department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the value of our product and tech delivery as an individual contributor. As a product Manager, you will oversee the development projects and tools that support various functions across Global Operations. Teamwork is key to our culture, and we interact closely with our technology partners, business partners, and client executives alike. We work in an non-agile fashion, leverage a wide range of technologies, and place a big emphasis on researching new approaches and technologies to meet our client’s needs. We are a growing team, and are looking for people that are proactive, intellectually curious, and enjoy problem solving. Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Assesses intake requests for proper prioritization and work assignment to Lead Developer based on required skill and team capacity.
  • Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, set expectations, and provide updates.
  • Oversee the development and lifecycle of reporting and analytics products, ensuring alignment with Global Operations business objectives and user needs.

  • Define and implement strategies for data reporting, visualization, and analytics delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration working with client, LOB SME, data architects, developers, and analysts to design and deliver robust reporting solutions.
  • Monitors the execution of defined tasks, statuses and measuring progress against completion target dates.
  • Works with other product managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the line of business, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution.
  • Establish success performance metrics for adoption, data utilization, and reporting accuracy, and continuously monitor their effectiveness.
  • Address and resolve reporting issues, ensuring the quality and reliability of data insights.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards, including GIS, MRM, and EDM routines.
  • Regularly analyze current reporting capabilities and lead efforts to optimize and innovate them
  • Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
  • Coaches and mentors peers to improve proficiency in a variety of systems and serves as a subject matter expert on multiple business and technical-related topics
  • Identifies business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions and communicates findings to senior management
  • Supports execution of large scale projects, such as platform conversions or new project integrations by conducting advanced reporting and drawing analytics based insight

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in project or product management
  • Can interpret programming code, workflows, and process maps
  • Strong understanding of risk analysis and management

  • Strong understanding of SDLC process
  • Precise attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem solves and troubleshoots on their own but knows when and how to escalate issues effectively
  • Proven track record in developing and managing data-driven products

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including executive level progress updates
  • User Acceptance Testing experience

Pay range

$102,000.00 - $144,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
